Jackets Full Back Embroidery
In the series I have used an unlined fleece for Full Jacket Back embroidery. If your jacket has a lining, you must be very careful that you keep the lining in the same alignment with the jacket shell as your are hooping it. In some cases I have found that it is best to pull your jacket over your hooping board and pin the lining and the jacket shell together in a few spots before you try to hoop it. This all depends on the fabric and how slippery the jacket shell and the lining is.
There is nothing that looks worse than an embroidered jacket that has a lining that is pulled in the opposite direction. I am sure that you have seen this in your travels as you have been out shopping. I just want to go up to the person and ask them where they purchased their jacket!!
