In this embroidery training video I show you how to create a large applique using the lettering twill fabric. When I was sewing out this applique the registration was off just a little bit on the tackdown and I talk abut that in the video. The tack down stitch should have been set in just a small amount to hold it down better. There was some shifting as it sewed down. It also ripped some, but after it was all finished and I pressed it with the heat press machine, it was very flat and looked great!
Sometimes everything does now work exactly has you plan it, but you can almost always correct it one way or another. I was taught that this is the test of a really good embroiderer!! Read more…
